Understanding How to Make Emulsion Paint for Professional Production
Learning how to make emulsion paint requires a deep understanding of the chemical synergy between pigments, fillers, and binders. As a high-performance water based paint, the quality of an interior acrylic emulsion paint is determined by its Pigment Volume Concentration (PVC) and the choice of additives.
Key Characteristics
- Fast drying: It dries quickly, shortening the construction cycle.
- Excellent water resistance: It performs well in humid environments, resisting moisture damage.
- Strong weather resistance: It can withstand outdoor environmental factors like sunlight and rain, maintaining stability.
- Easy application: It is simple to apply, suitable for both professional and DIY operations.
- Good environmental performance: As a water-based coating, it has low volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions, being more eco-friendly.
Tiered Emulsion Paint Formulation: From Economy to Premium
A versatile emulsion paint formulation allows manufacturers to serve different market segments. For low-cost options, we focus on high PVC using cost-effective fillers. For premium quality, we emphasize scrub resistance and film-forming properties by selecting the right styrene acrylic emulsion or pure acrylic resins.
