BX-SRS-507 Solvent free organic silicone resin
This Solvent free organic silicone resin is a reactive polysiloxane resin. It is solvent-free and has small molecules. It contains methyl, phenyl, and alkoxy groups. It cures at room temperature. Catalysts like amino silane can be used. Organotin or titanium catalysts also work. It offers good mechanical properties. The dried film performs well physically. It has high silicon dioxide content. This improves temperature resistance. It produces little smoke. It works with carbon black. It can be mixed with aluminum paste. Heat resistance reaches 650°C. It does not produce open flames. It resists high temperatures safely. It is used in high-temperature coatings. Examples include chimney paint. Also used for fireplace coatings. Suitable for steam pipe protection.

| Note: The above data are for reference only and are not guaranteed technical specifications. *Supplementary Explanations: 1. “Opalescent light is allowed” refers to a faint iridescent or milky luster that may appear in the liquid—this is a normal and acceptable characteristic in high-purity viscous systems (e.g., modified epoxy resins, polyester resins), caused by subtle light scattering of resin molecules, and does not indicate impurities or turbidity; 2. “cp” (centipoise) is a standard viscosity unit, and the range 200-800 cp represents medium viscosity: it is fluid enough for easy mixing with additives (e.g., pigments, curing agents) or application via methods like blade coating, while being viscous enough to avoid run-off on inclined substrates, ensuring uniform film formation; 3. “Volatile matter ≤3%” means the product contains extremely low levels of evaporable components (e.g., residual solvents, small-molecule monomers): this minimizes environmental emissions (low VOCs) during use and avoids defects in the final cured product (such as shrinkage, blistering, or pinholes) caused by volatile evaporation; 4. Combined with these indicators, the product is likely a low-volatile, medium-viscosity functional resin, suitable for scenarios requiring environmental friendliness and stable film performance (e.g., high-end coatings, electronic adhesives, or composite material binders). | |
