BX-ESR-403 Methylphenyl polysiloxane resin

This Methylphenyl polysiloxane resin is a kind of methyl/phenyl alkoxy functional polysiloxane resin that is solvent- free, reactive. The molecular weight distribution is narrow. It is suitable for introducing compatible silicone components into other resins such as acrylic acid, polyester and epoxy to increase its high temperature and weather resistance. For example, the introduction of 30% silicone intermediate can improve the continuous heat resistance of organic resin to 300-350℃.

Note: The above data are for reference only and are not guaranteed technical specifications.
*Supplementary explanations: 1. “Opalescent light is allowed” means the liquid may exhibit a faint iridescent or milky sheen—this is a common acceptable trait in modified resins (e.g., acrylic or silicone-modified systems) and does not indicate impurity; 2. “cp” (centipoise) is a standard viscosity unit, and the range 80-500 cp represents a medium viscosity, balancing ease of handling (e.g., mixing, coating) and subsequent film-forming thickness; 3. “Volatile matter ≤5%” indicates the product has extremely low content of evaporable components (e.g., solvents, small-molecule monomers), which reduces environmental emissions during use and ensures stable performance of the final cured product (avoiding defects like shrinkage or blistering caused by volatile evaporation).
Ⅱ. Packaging and Storage
This product is packed in 200 kg plastic drum, stored in a cool and dry place, avoid direct sunlight, avoid acid and alkali contact. This product belongs to non-dangerous goods
Ⅲ. Instructions
1.It is generally recommended to use the pigment filler and a part of the resin to prepare the paste, then add the remaining silicone resin to produce finished paint. You can also mix the resin-free color paste into the resin to adjust finished paint.
2. Xylene and other solvents not containing hydroxyl can be chosen as diluent.
